This page shows the documents you will be asked to review and sign, along with the items you should be ready to upload or provide during onboarding. Review both sections carefully and gather everything early. Missing, incomplete, or poor-quality submissions can delay onboarding, and systems setup does not begin until required signed documents are on file.

During onboarding, you will receive required documents to review and sign. Some are standard for every agent, while others may depend on your office, role, or setup. Read each document carefully before signing. Onboarding does not move forward until required documents are completed and received.
This agreement outlines your relationship with iXL Real Estate as an independent contractor, not an employee. It covers your role, responsibilities, and the general terms of your affiliation with the brokerage.
This document confirms that you reviewed and agreed to the commission structure, transaction fees, regulatory compliance fees, and other company-related fee policies that apply to your business with iXL. Read this one carefully. It is one of the documents agents tend to skim and later regret.
This document confirms that you received the Policy & Procedures Manual and understand that you are expected to read it fully and follow company policy. Do not sign this without actually reading the manual.
Your W-9 will be included with your onboarding documents so your tax information can be kept on file for commission reporting purposes. It must be completed and returned as part of your onboarding packet.
This form must be completed and signed as part of your required onboarding documents.
Depending on your office, role, or setup, you may also receive added onboarding documents that must be signed or completed before onboarding can move forward. These may include internal acknowledgments, office-specific forms, or team-related documents.
Please review all documents carefully before signing. If you have questions about any document, ask before signing. Do not assume. Do not guess. Your onboarding will not move forward until required documents are completed and received.

During onboarding, you may be asked to upload or provide the items below. Review this list early and begin gathering everything now so you are ready when your onboarding form is assigned. This section covers items you may be asked to upload or provide. It does not include the agreements and forms you will review and sign separately.
You will be asked to provide your real estate license number during onboarding. Make sure your license is active and entered correctly.
You will be required to upload a professional headshot for your profile, company marketing, and business cards. Your headshot should be waist up, taken against a plain or clean background, and be clear, current, and professional. Selfies, cropped photos, face-only photos, filtered photos, casual photos, and photos pulled from social media may be rejected.
Have a short professional bio ready to submit for your agent profile. Keep it short, clear, and professional.
Be prepared to provide your MLS information, including your MLS member details if available. Because agents are responsible for joining their MLS, this should already be active or in progress before onboarding is completed.
Be prepared to provide your board and association membership information, if applicable for your branch or market.
You will be asked to provide your emergency contact details during onboarding. Have the full name, phone number, and relationship ready.
If you are joining iXL as a solo agent, you will be required to purchase a vanity domain. Be prepared to provide your domain information during onboarding. GoDaddy is preferred because it is the easiest to use. If you are joining a team, you do not need a vanity domain unless instructed otherwise.
If you were referred by an iXL agent, be prepared to provide that agent’s full name during onboarding. This must be entered at the time of onboarding. Verbal claims later will not be honored.
You will be asked to provide your real estate license number during onboarding. Make sure your license is active and entered correctly.
You may also be required to submit added documents depending on your business setup. This may include LLC documents, EIN information, or other business-related documents if you are operating under an entity.
Missing, incomplete, or poor-quality submissions may delay onboarding. If your headshot does not meet company standards, you will be required to submit a new one before onboarding can move forward.
